For Portex, it marked a milestone: our first-ever participation as an exhibitor at the fair — and we left with much more than we expected.

Behind the Scenes: Where the Real Networking Begins
When the fair closes its doors at 5:30 PM, Munich keeps buzzing — and the networking continues in the most memorable ways.
Exhibitors host after-hour gatherings with music, DJs, and drinks right at their stands, making it easy to turn casual conversations into lasting relationships.
One of our favorite after-fair experiences was at Augustiner-Keller, a legendary beer garden on Arnulfstraße 52. It was packed with familiar faces from the fair — and turned into a spontaneous, authentic networking hotspot.
Later? Munich’s nightlife offered plenty of options: Pacha München, 089 Bar, or the cozy pubs around Marienplatz. Some of us even ended the night on karaoke, singing with people who might just become our next clients or partners.
Because at the Transport Logistic Fair in Munich, connections don’t end when the halls close — they evolve.
